2020 Breeders’ Cup Turf Betting Odds: 10 Probable Entrants to Anticipate

The 2020 Breeders’ Cup Challenge and World Championships are taking place this November 6 and 7, 2020, at Keeneland Racetrack. This horse racing competition will feature eight fixtures with over million-dollar prizes at stake. The two-day racing game is expected to hold no spectators, and betting games are settling online.

One of the most anticipated fixtures happening at this event is the 2020 Breeders’ Cup Turf. It is a Grade 1 Stakes event where entrants need to hustle at one ½ turf track distance. Also, it requires three to four-year-old thoroughbreds to enter with weight qualifications depending on the horse’s origin. The Breeders’ Cup Turf will award a total purse prize of $6 million.

Hence, as the Keeneland racecourse starts to get its shape for the grand horse racing show in a few weeks, let’s see the probable horses who will grapple at Breeders’ Cup Turf. These colts are big placers in many stakes races this year, and make sure to follow them to pick your bets in the upcoming Breeders Cup betting.

Magical

Magical took part last September at Irish Champion Stakes and successfully earned the title. That said, his trainer Aidan P. O’Brien listed him for the Breeders’ Cup Turf. Before winning the Irish Stakes, Magical won many prominent races like Juddmonte International Stakes (2nd), Tattersalls Gold Cup (1st), Always Miyah Pretty Polly Stakes (1st), and QIPCO Champion Stakes British Champions Middle Distance (1st).

Logician

A sire of Frankel, Logician, is another probable entrant to the Breeders’ Cup Turf this year.  He was born in 2016 and accomplished six racing finishes since birth. His recent accomplishment was a title he won at Conditions Stakes. Apart from that, he joined the Doncaster Stakes last September and placed significantly.

Zulu Alpha

Last July, Zulu Alpha participated at Elkhorn Stakes and brought home the title. After that, he proceeded to Calumet Farm Kentucky Turf Cup Stakes, where he got third place.

As he works out to compete at Breeders’ Cup Turf, Zulu Alpha has other achievements to offer in his forms like the Kitten’s Joy Pan American Stakes (2nd), Mac Diarmida Stakes (1st), and Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes (1st).

Channel Maker

William I. Mott’s Channel Maker was undefeated in the last two races he participated, leading him to vie for the Breeders’ Cup Turf. His two major titles were the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Stakes and Sword Dancer Stakes. Besides, he also placed significantly in other races like Bowling Green Stakes (3rd), Manhattan Stakes (4th), Tiller Stakes (8th), and Muniz Memorial Classic Stakes (8th).

Arklow

Arklow recently accomplished a huge title last September when he won the Calumet Farm Kentucky Turf Cup. That said, Brad Cox won’t take a slip of sending him to participate in the Breeders’ Cup Turf.

His achievements are also meaningful this year, which includes placements at United Nations  Stakes (4th), Elkhorn Stakes (6th), Louisville Stakes (2nd), and Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Stakes (5th).

With ten racing accomplishments tallied in his resume, Love, a Galileo sire, is taking his chance to the Breeders’ Cup Turf. Love has earned many titles since birth, including Darley Yorkshire Oaks, Investec Oaks, and QIPCO One Thousand Guineas. She’s also a significant placer in other races such as Bet365 Fillies Mile (3rd), Debutante Stakes (5th), and Jockey Club of Turkey Silver Flash Stakes (1st).

Barney Roy

Last September, Barney Roy attended the Longines Grosser Preis von Baden and won the race impressively. Barney Roy’s other achievements are Preis von Europa (4th), Grosser Dallmayr-Preis-Bayerisches Zuchtrennen (1st), Prince of Wales’s Stakes (3rd), and Jebel Hatta (1st).

Gufo is heading to the Breeders’ Cup Turf this November after accomplishing the Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes a few weeks ago. Not only that, but he also won the Kent Stakes and English Channel Stakes last May and July. Gufo also participated at the Saratoga Derby Invitational Stakes, where he got second place.

Mogul is another sire of Galileo who will compete at the Breeders’ Cup Turf. This colt recently gained the Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris last September.  Also, he participated at Sky Bet Great Voltigeur Stakes (3rd) and  John Pearce Racing Gordon Stakes (1st).
